Problem with on-screen guide

I have 2 Sony B-55 receivers in my system, had them for some time. When the Guide button is pressed, the display splits into three sections, the upper left is the channel being viewed, the upper right is the channel information and the lower half is the channel guide. Well tonight, on both units, the upper left display is no longer showing anything. I tried unplugging the receiver to reset it. Not working. In fact, there is no audio either. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

I'm thinking it's a DirecTV issue. I just noticed that Guide is not giving me any time options for jumping forward. Something is screwy here.

Whatever it was, it has corrected itself. I still think it was a DirecTV problem.
