Weather wasn't too bad today, so I was out at the dish trying to find AMC9 for RTN. In the process of moving the dish east (normally at G18) after not being able to find it, I decided to swing over to 72°W to see what might be there, I noticed the cable was getting a little tight as it was under snow on the roof. I pulled the cable up out of the snow and some where along the way lost both signal bars. Went back in the house (I can watch the TV through the window) to check it out. While going through the menu switching satellites, some of the known ones I have still had USALS or DiSeqc settings from when I was trying to set up a motor, which I have abandoned trying until spring. To get to the point, something happened to the receiver during this episode. After turning off the back switch and re-powering, I have lost all my channels and settings. I pulled the LNB off and hooked it up on a short cable and have LNB power, and have reloaded factory firmware, but each time I turn it off and back on, it is at the "Language" setup page, and I can get to all the set up pages, but can't exit from them. Does the receiver send extra power when trying to turn the motor even if there isn't one there? Anybody else have anything like this happen with their IV200?
