Here
I am having a problem where my recorder is now skipping all my season passes, saying that someone in the house has changed options when they haven't because I am the only one in the house. It should have recorded CSI and Shark last night but it didn't. Does it sound like it's going bad? Should I reformat it and try adding them again? For some reason any season pass that is supposed to record on channels 80-88 are the ones that are skipped. Even when I go in and look at upcoming episodes they aren't even in the list.

It's not just your machine. It happened with my SD D-TiVo on Tuesday and there are threads/post on TCF from folks going through the same thing.

Try just doing a simple restart either from the menu or by pulling the plug and see if that corrects it. If it doesn't, schedule the recordings you need for that day and see if the 2AM download corrects it.

I did a restart and it still shows it skipping it. When I left the house I did a clear of the thumbs up stuff to see if that helps. So I will find out when I get home.

I have had the same problems the last week or so. It fails to record a show on season pass and then when I go to look what is wrong it says no upcoming episodes. I unplugged the receiver to restart and after about an hour or so, it shows the season pass with the upcoming episodes scheduled. On Wednesday, it did the same thing and I again had to uplug and restart the recvier.

Clear an delete everything fixes it with the old software 3.1.5.f. Not sure about the new software. Season pass occasionally gets corrupted at least mine does and starts missing all of the season pass recordings, eventually you will get screwed up guide info as well. Seems to happen every 6 months or so. http://www.dvrplayground.com/forum/thread/12611/?page=1

Well you shouldn't have to do that every 6 months. If so then it is a software flaw. Anyway, after I cleared all the thumbs up stuff, guess what? All the to-do list stuff of season passes are back. Go figure.

The first time all I had to do was delete my season passes, the second time it was worse. Like any computer or hard drive sometimes files get corrupted.

It's a problem with virtually every DirecTivo out there, SD or HD, new and old. Stop by the Tivo Community for a long multipage thread about it. Looks like the Tivo code barfed up on some guide data changes or something. No fix at this time.

Earlier this week it was doing that on NBC Channel 2, here in the Orlando market, but all other stations were ok. It was happening with my D* signal, as well as my OTA signal. I called the station and asked if there was something missing from their data signal. They said they would check into it, and in about an hour everything was back to normal. Could of just been a coincidence.

It has started happening again with a few shows. I had to go back an manually put them back in. Kinda defeats the purpose of having season passes.

It happened to me last week for a few days then cleared up and went back to normal. Then again yesterday it showed "No Upcoming Shows", and didn't record my wife's soaps (Not a good thing). I rebooted and it made no difference, I then deleted the season ticket, re-entered it and then it took and showed the upcoming shows. We will see if it records the shows today.
