I just got an old primestar elliptical dish from a friend. the lnb has 2 outs on it. does that mean that it had 2 lnbs in there? any way of picking up galaxy 25 with that thing? and if so, which of the 2 out puts on the lnb am i going to be using? thanks for you help!

yes it will work for G25 (IA5)

The 2 outputs each have one polarity on it. So one output is V only and one is H only. You can either change out the LNB or get a 3x4 multiswitch and hook both lines into that. The switch will give you 4 outputs then and both polarities :)

Yep thats a great dish for G25, I have one on a motor and one stationary just for G25. Definitely get the switch so you can get the most programming.

Those Primestar LNBFs work great. I have been testing different LNBFs on my recently installed 1m dish this past week. I find the original works the best and looks cool too.

The ones with separate H and V outputs are actually quite useful when a 2 x 4 or 3 x 4 multiswitch is added. Makes them equivalent to any other dual-output LNB :)
