well i can't find anything with the round dish

went back to the oval dish mounted in a 5 gal bucket and hit ia6 and then ia5 with no problem

might have to swap out the lnb on the round to see if its bad most likely i'm just no good at aimimg the big round dish . lol

Hi! When skewing these LNBFs that are made for the wide ellipticals shaped like Primestar (and WorldDirect) the feedhorn assembly must also be skewed, but much better to skew the whole reflector. Here's why: look inside the clear plastic and you might see some stair-step patterns--those help to reject adjacent signals and if you don't also skew them then they also reject the illumination you want!

In any case you should also figure out a way to skew the reflector, too, since that special stair-step pattern is intended to use the whole wide oval reflector and skewing it will still miss much of the illumination.

An expensive way to skew the whole thing (when it doesn't have a ring) is to mount it on a motor and leave it set at the satellite you want--the motors have a not-so-well-known feature that they take care of skew automatically.
