Tonight we sat down to watch TV and all of tonights programs recorded and were available on the PTAT screen. However any show that recorded tonight that we selected and tried to watch said "Playback finished" immediately when it tried playing it.

None of tonights shows recorded. :(

Anyone else have this issue tonight?

BTW I had a great idea... I forgot that I enabled PTAT on my other Hopper... so tried watching the shows recorded on the other Hopper.

Guess what the recording there did the same thing. :(

BTW I also rebooted both Hoppers.

any storms or anything interrupt the Dish signal? PTAT doesn't always recover well.

mine recorded just fine tonight.

Last night I had problems with none of my PTAT shows recording but tonight everything was just fine as usual.

No weather issues here.

I'm just a few miles from Scott and we did experience very heavy rain at the beginning of PT that knocked out signal. My PTAT recordings from last night are messed up too...

It could have been the weather here, we were having rain until about 9PM. Wasn't too heavy though.

I just checked my signals and I am getting 61 on my locals transponder which is 61.5 Transponder 1, which is a spotbeam.

I've had similar issues in the past. PTAT seems to have absolutely no tolerance for signal interruptions (i.e. heavy rain) and occasional unexplained glitches. I still run PTAT on all three of my Hoppers just in case. Dish really needs to improve the restart capabilities of the Hopper in general and PTAT specifically.

I have reported this as well. The 722 was way more stable with regards to LOS events while recording was in progress. It always restarted when it got signal lock again. The 722 also didnt randomly switch and start recording another channel after a LOS event like the Hopper seems to do at times (nothing against ABC but I really would like to see other channels at times).

I am guessing weather played a part also. I had no issues here in pa

Reading these, I wanted to chime in, my Hopper blew off all of Friday, the PTAT and a few scheduled shows on other channels. Wondering what was wrong the 4th? And if I looked at the "schedule" it showed gobs of unknowns recording for 5 hours...

I am in the midwest and we had no weather issues that night. I was just attempting to watch shows from that night and got about 3/4 through one of them and the show stopped and would not restart. The show that was to start afterward would not play at all. This is not the first time this has happened with the Hopper when the sky is perfectly clear. All of my signals are well within tolerance. Another issue for the bug list which is getting very long.
