Just use flat (not gloss) paint for the front.
Flat paint might be a wise choice for the back, just for esthetic reasons, too.
Be careful on the color or pattern you choose.
I'd lean toward a dull medium grey. I doubt any shade of blue would be satisfactory.
If you'll llook at the two BUDs in my signature, the solid is bright white, and the perforated is a dull grey - darned thing almost disappears.
We've had several members here who've camouflaged their dishes to make them less conspicuous.
Maybe they'll chime in with pictures.
If you are fixed on Sky-Mexico, and don't need to see other birds, could you move the dish to a location below the roof line?
