Just wondering if anyone could help me out, I have a Prepaid 301 Rec connected to a Pro 500 119 110 Dish. The package Ive paid for is the Top 200 and for some reason Im missing channels like from 189-200 etc. I can only lock onto the 119 sat. When I contacted dish they sent a software update (P394) to my rec but still only 119 with missing channels. Would only having the 119 come in cause missing channels and if so could it be a damaged lnb? Any insight would be great. Thanks

Could be a case of the dish not being pointed right causing you to lose 110, what signal strength are you getting from 110?
Im not getting any signal from 110 while locked onto 119. I have it adjusted to the right settings per my zip code. When I try moving to the dish manually and set the point/aim in the menu to 110 I get signal up 60 plus in strength but it says 129 ecostar at the bottom where it normally says 119 while connected to 119, but will never lock and I go to about 20 percent 119 signal. So its either about 65-70 signal on 119 with most of the 200 channels or while the menu on screen is at 110 I can move the dish to pick up signal about 60 percent (ecostar 129 at bottom) and lose all 119. When I download my channel guide it doesnt show all 200 of the Top 200 package it skips from 189-200 for example, Im guessing this is also because the channels Im looking for are on another satellite?
Try covering the 110 lnb with aluminum foil and see what readings you get on 119, you might be getting 119 through the 110 lnb and 129 through the 119 lnb. In which case you are pointed about 9 degrees too far to the right.
Yes, that is what is happening. The dish needs to be moved up and to the left in order to get back the 119 and 110. When you check the system info screen (menu 6-1-3) the satellites that appear on the screen will probably read 129 and 119 respectively. Once you repoint the dish they should read 119 and 110 respectively.
