I have one P+ receiver and would like to add a second. I read somewhere that all the remotes have the same ID code. If this is correct, is there a way of changing the code in either the RCU or the receiver to avoid accident overlap?

You cannot change this code but, if you don't place them in the same room, you won't have to worry about this overlap. The signal is IR and not UHF and therefore won't reach to another room.

If you do plan on having two Premium Plus receivers in the same room, save yourself the money and buy a second DVB-S2 tuner. One receiver + two tuners = two receivers - $280.
