I see AEP will allow for the DVR fee charge to be eliminated. What is it, and how much does it cost? Is there a 1 year commitment?
I see some fees at $10., some at $12., some more.. What the differences?

You are referring to Dish, correct? I see the DVR Receiver fees are different in at least three invoices. I assume there is a $6.00 charge per receiver. The AEP package waives the charge?

There are 2 fees for an HD DVR. Monthly equipment lease or extra box fee $7. Then there is the DVR fee for $5.99. AEP eliminates the $5.99 DVR fee, you will still have to pay $7. One box is covered in the base package, so the $7 is only on extra receivers.

If you have 2-3 DVRs the AEP pretty much pays for itself.

A leased 722 and owned 622. Also have the penny Cinemax, and Locals included in the Classic 200 with DVR.
Yes, I know I can have the GoldHD swapped with the HD & Platinum at the same price, but when I tried it online, I would lose some grandfathering (free locals & no fees on the first HD-DRV) with my Classic Silver so I didn't bother.

Thanks for clarifying the question I had about the AEP, DVR fees, and lease fees. I see from your invoice that the $5.99 fee is not there but AEP is.

My invoice may have charges you can comment on: (I have two 722 receivers)

Classic Silver 200 w/DVR $57.99

Classic Gold $10.00

GoldHD $10.00

DVR Receiver $12.00

Any suggestions on these specific charges?

Here's mine with the AEP for just over 100. Than other items. Note the recent adjustment from GOLD and Platinum to GOLD+platinum. Did others also get hit with $5 fee for chaning to Gold+platinum?

I'm blown away by some of these bills.... I thought $100+ for TV by itself was insane, but we have several over $150+, people love their TV. I don't have the time to watch it all.

Me too. When the bill went over 100 bucks I got out of D*. Now I pay 164 total after tax a month for state of the art FIOS internet, unlimited phone, ALL HD channels available with ALL premiums at the best PQ. And Im talking like 10 HD channels or so in each premium package. And there were 2 HD channel additions this past week.

Looking at some of you folks bills gives me the shivers.If I had to pay much more than I do now, I would go back to OTA.
Whats worse? having 13 channels of nothing to watch or 250+ of nothing to watch.

D* doesn't change your committment for changing your programming, only for adding hardware.
