I have the HR20-xxx model (silver) with an OTA input. My question is can I use a cable TV feed as input to the OTA. I have basic cable as well, and would like to use the HR20 for everything without having to switch my TV input from satellite to OTA and back just to view local channels in HD.

Is this possible? Thanks.

OTA is over the air so no you can't get OTA by cable. If your cable company carries the local channels in ATSC then yes the tuner built into your HR-20 could be used. 99.9% of cable companies use NTSC for their local channel broadcasts.:):):)

One problem is that you wouldn't be able to integrate the cable TV lineup into the guide, unless the cable channels match the OTA ones.
