Will attempt to duplicate when back at the office then do a TS recording of a few transponders for verification testing on a closed system. Does this happen repeatedly on the same transponders or is it random?
It seems to be certain transponders.
Like mentioned before, one minute you might scan a transponder in with a symbol rate of 30000,
then try again a minute later and you might get the same transponder at 30000, 30125 or 29875.
Then there are other transponders with the same symbol rate (ex. 30000) that don't have a problem and always scan in at the correct symbol rate.
I don't think you're going to see a problem in the TS, the symbol rate should be detected in the locking stage before demodulation.
So far I have only seen this on DVB-S transponders. Could it be a non-standard DVB-S Roll off factor ?
I have a recording from the microHD of a feed that had this problem.
