Pop HD

They are all 480p ,so I don't count them as SD and when played on my 4k blu ray they look pretty damn good. SD on DISH is 480i and blown up to 1080i output, which doesn't look as great to me.

Uncompressed SD looks pretty darn good, all things considered.

As for new HD on Dish, I'd rather they spend their time "working" on new encoders, so we can watch what they already provide without frame rate judder. A year of that crap is long enough.

I was referring to what's actually recorded on the disk, not what a modern DVD player can put out via component. I am looking at places like AVS forums, where this post says it's 480i.
OK, if you want to get technical, DVDs store videos as sixty interlaced fields per second (fifty in PAL format). However, the players almost always ouput 480p.

...and Boomerang...
I thought of that one, but the last time it came up in an HD channel request thread (which was quite a long time ago) someone said that Boomerang does not even have a HD feed. Do you know whether they have launched one since then? I think all of the Boomerang VOD on Dish is still SD, even though Dish carries HD VOD of some other channels that are not carried in HD, such as Disney XD which was pointed out earlier.

Your favorite Defunct Channel for 200 Alex, I will go with Nick gas and the loop that proceeded,:biggrin2 following the channel being pulled. I believe I just got Dish at that time
I also liked that channel, but I bet the HD fish tank demo channel, that Dish used to have, would get more votes than Nick GAS. :biggrin
