Hi Guys

I'm having a very ODD issue with my Technisat Skystar-2 PCI Card.

I have several dishes pointing to 4 satellites but when I run a cable from my card to switch I get anywhere from 65-80 quality and 25-40 signal strength.

I've tried various troubleshooting steps from swapping diseqc switches, connecting straight to lnb via female->female barrel connection, an sw-21 switch, different lnb's, swapping cables with a brand new rg6. I even took an STB and connected it to the same cable and can get 89 signal strength/90 quality.

The only other thing I can think is that there is an issue with the pci card or its something environmental.

Could something be messing up the signal in the room? speakers? Subwoofer perhaps?

You didn''t say this Technisat card had ever shown stronger signals before, so I have to assume this is how it's always acted.

Not all cards (nor FTA boxes) read the same for signal levels.
But, if you have a good quality reading, and a good picture, you're done.
