Poll: Are you having HDMI problems with your 211/411/622

The HDMI input is working fine on my 5 day old 622; it is connected to a Hitachi 60VS810 LCD set. If it goes bad, I will simply vote again with a negative input. My system was installed with the L359 release.

Since there seem to be some infant mortality problems, perhaps the poll should be restated so that you only solicit inputs from owners with more than two weeks of 622 experience.

Okay, I think we have our data now.

We have reports on 183 MPEG4 receivers.

40% of them are having problems with their HDMI connections.

The problem rate is higher for the non-DVR models (211 & 411), running a bit over 50%, but is still unacceptably high for the 622 at approx 33%.

So the thumbnail summary is: 2 out of every 5 MPEG4 receivers are having HDMI problems, with half of the non-DVR receivers and a third of the 622s having problems.

If Dish doesn't know this, then they are really out of touch with their user base.
