I just found a way to transfer my HD stuff from my 622 to my older pocketdish, I have the av500e. BUT the only way to do it is to have a tv that has a monitor out,I have a couple of sony's with this feature. I just go from monitor out into the pocketdish thru the docking station and then select videocorder and then it will show up, then you just hit the record button. the only issues are that since it is the monitor out it will record all the 622 menu things like, when I switched my remote from sat to tv and it recorded the floating screen that says I have the remote set to tv. also it will only record in real time. Also when you play it back you go into your pocket dish menu and maximize the picture and it will fill screen and look pretty close to the orignal 16x9 format maybe just slightly narrow but it does show all the original picture. I also tried to use this method to transfer a protected dvd but that would not work
