Can someone explain this type of commercial receiver. I was reading one one site people was using them for American Forces network.

Its a receiver that has to be authorized to be able to view scrambled programming. PowerVu is mainly used for cable comapnies and you have to prove you are a cable company to get authorized

SA does not have any Commercial IRD's with that model number....perhaps you left off a number? D9222/D9223/D9224/D9225/D9228/D9229...some manuals are posted here, if you cannot find the exact one, please respond..

It was a ebay thing.
It was a ebay receiver for 19.99 with free s/h. But I do believe I left a number off. It also had 8psk and pska with it or something like that. I think I looked up one of these before. ANyway the auction was over and I did not bid.
