Please verify HWS/H3 Info I've received and advise on setup option

Hi All,
My current setup is two HWS each with a Joey, setup kinda like two seperate systems. I've been having issues with one of my HWS lately (slow remote response/cant display EHD folder frequently/picture freezing,etc). Dish offered to upgrade me to a H3 with 3 Joeys. They said that if I wanted 2 H3 and 2 Joeys to mimic my current setup I could do it but it would require a second dish and I'd have to purchase the second H3 outright (accomodation for a 20 year customer). My question is if I could keep one of my existing HWS/Joey combos and add a H3/Joey to replace the one with issues if I had the second dish installed. It seems to me that this should work(if it would work for 2 H3's)but wanted feedback from the "pros". Thank you in advance for your assistance!

From a technical standpoint, yes.

From a billing standpoint, I can't say. Dish may still require the second "Hopper" be purchased whether H3 or HWS, and if so, there is no advantage to the HWS/H3 combo. You'll likely wish they were both H3s after getting one anyway.

It was a "second level" csr who conferred with their supervisor. First they said that it was not technically possible to connect two H3 but then came back with the "you'll need two dish antennas and purchase one H3" after I called bs. I recall a similar exchange about 2 hoppers not being available on an account when the HWS first came out. Maybe I should just suffer for a little while and wait them out....
