We lost our locals on Aug. 31st at 5am. We get our locals from Springfield, MO.

Please tell us every piece of new equipment we would need in order to get them back. Thank you very much!

Springfield locals were on 72.5 but moved to 99/103 a year or so ago. they were still mirrored on 72 but sounds liek they pulled the plug on them finally. You should have called Directv and got the free upgrade to continue getting the locals

Call DIrectv and tell them. They can get you set up with the right equipment which is a slimline dish (HD dish) and HD recievers if you still use older receivers

How much time do I have to swap my equipment in order to keep viewing local channels?

The transitions will be completed in 2011. Below is a list of markets and the transition date in which your equipment MUST be updated. If your equipment is not updated by the date listed below, your local channels cannot be viewed. Due to the volume of customers needing an equipment exchange, we are encouraging customers to make their equipment exchange installation appointment as soon as possible. Installation appointments will fill up quickly.

Yes, DireCTV sent out e-mails and bill inserts to everyone in the DMA about this many times in the past year, did you ignore them? Call DirecTV and ask for the equipment swapout due to the transition from 72.5.
