PLDS Announce Portable Blu-ray Drive (Finally)

PLDS (Pioneer & Lite-On Digital Solutions) has announced that they will release a portable Blu-ray drive, the DX-401S. This BD-ROM drive will connect to any PC via a USB 2.0 cable enabling users to watch any Blu-ray movie on their computer without installing a Blu-ray drive. No price has been given at this time for the device, which is expected to be released sometime in April.

This is just like HD-DVD.

Now I have 1 question, will this work with the 360?

Certainly not out of the box, but having something like this on the market is a nice first step...

I see the DX-401s as the internal SATA version (which I would prefer) - Anitec.ca - Liteon DX-401S (Black) 4x Blu-ray BD-ROM SATA

I see that Blu-ray website lists that model as USB
