I got this plastic mirror from a friend, and tried it for satellite reception. S/Q is not very good, but usable.
It is spherical mirror, not a parabolic one, but it works. Calculated radii was close to 1200 mm, so, the focal
spot was set at 600 mm. LNBF holder is really mickey-mouse, but it was made for testing only.

Used to see these mirrors in stores way back when... Don't see them anymore, likely easier to spot shoplifters with security cameras now-a-daze instead. Guess the aluminized coating that causes them to reflect light also works for RF...
Just tell your local HOA that it's your new security system! :)

Try 95W 11780 H 20760 if you get a chance. You may be surprised.

I remember the thread where people were reflecting signals off metal building and cd's and other objects. It was interesting.

Thanks for posting! You come up with some experiments that I think about sometimes but never try or have time or resources to.

As soon as I saw the word "mirror" in the post title, I knew who made the post!

Because of all the experimenting you do, maybe a boom mike stand would make a versatile temporary LNBF holder?
