And in the Dish press release at DISH Network - Investor Relations - 1.888.825.2557 they say:
"This new functionality is part of DISH Network's latest and unprecedented expansion in high definition services, which includes the rollout of TurboHD, the industry's first 100 percent, all-HD suite of programming packages. As previously announced, DISH Network will also launch 17 new national HD channels tomorrow, surpassing its goal of reaching 100 national HD channels five months ahead of schedule. DISH Network now offers up to 114 national HD channels and plans to expand that line-up to 150 channels by the end of 2008, made possible by the recent launch of Echo XI, the most powerful satellite in the company's fleet."

That doesn't sound like up to but they were going to have 150 channels, not up to 150 channels.

Maybe, but I didn't see anything corrections from Dish if it was, just more stories about how Dish will have 150 channels by EOY 2008:

Except two years ago D* said they'd have the capacity, E*'s PR said "...plans to expand that line-up to 150 channels by the end of 2008" not that they'd have the capacity for 150 but an expanded line-up of 150 channels.

I think after tomorrow we might be getting the new channels because of the satellite going up never know I mean why did they give us so many temp channels and I even got World cinema showing up though its another temp channel so I mean why have them at all if they aren't going to be using them any time soon.

Perhaps, but it wouldnt really read right if the dash were a mistake. IMO, they planned to offer that many, it didnt work out, and they changed the intent of the advertisement. No big deal really, at least they eventually revised it

Whats the difference? Same BS just worded different.

He said UP TO , Not I will have 150 HD channels. Same as D* did for over 2 years streight. The only reason I leased an H-20 for $199 was to get this Huge D* HD lineup. Well lets see wheres D* 150 HD channels? Its been 3 years now.
