Pink edges?

Is this something thats hidden if you have your tv on say 5% overscan, versus 1:1 pixel mapping?

The pink that most were referring to was not really on the edge, but randomly showing up for a second as a pink smudge on the screen. I would not worry about it,i only noticed one night and I think that is the same for the others.

Was it before or after the new update?

I did not see the pink artifacts until after my Hopper was updated. I recorded a show and watched it before the update and everything was fine. I was rewatching that show after the update and now I see the pink pixels. It seems to happen when there is quick motion on the right side of the screen.

I called Dish and they said that they would have to open a ticket to the Hopper team because it is a new issue to them. I should have an update on Wed 11/28.

I only saw this on one recording that I made. I haven't seen it since.

Ditto, one recording on one night.

Geez! One recording of Covert Affairs, with some pixelation, too. That is the only place I've seen it - do you think it might be something related to that broadcast?

BTW, that screen size adjustment is useful where the TV overscans. 1080 TVs set pixel to pixel (or the equivalent for your brand) do not need this adjustment.

Blips every 30 minutes - on the hour and half hour.
