-----HOT NEWS FLASH-----
This just in from The Bakersfield Bakers' Journal:
The world of entertainment was stunned and saddened today by the news that yet another icon of TV advertising has passed away.
The Pillsbury Dough Boy, beloved icon of TV and print ads, died yesterday at home. Doctors attributed his passing to a severe yeast infection coupled with traumatic injuries to his abdomen, believed to be caused by repeated pokes to his belly. The Dough Boy was 71 years old. Dough Boy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Play Dough, and their three children, John Dough, Jane Dough and their youngest Dill Dough. Family friends say that Jill even now has one "in the oven".
Services were held at Hot Point at 3:50 for about twenty minutes.
