Nice! The down side with the 40" dish is the dish does not rotate to skew, I have mine on a poor mans H to H mount for now. BIG difference in signal quality when you skew the WHOLE dish and not just the LNBF (Of course)

Pete! you have any more pics of your H-H mount, and does it scan the whole orbit?

Yes the "Poormans H to H Mount" scans the whole arc :)

Been using this method for years in the UK before coming here!

M r. Crane

I live in Santa Cruz and have a Primestar pointed at G10. It works great! KEG's comes in at 59 or 60 on a pansat. It would hardly come in on my motorized dish

Hope the above has given you some ideas :)

I use many different LNB's I crack them open and the 20mm neck is a PERFECT fit for the LNB holder!

No I am not using the original LBN. I took the single LBN ,SHN-031 invacom LBN, that I had on my motorized dish and zip locked it on the Primestar dish. The Primestar dish that I got didn't have it's original LBN. It seem to work fine with the zip locks.

Just curious if you could advise what type of "clamp" you have on your primestar? I have a regular antenna u-bolt, but I can't get it down tight on my spare Primestar. The Primestar I have up has a different type of clamp that works perfect. I can't find them anywhere! Thanks!

I like the way you guys think. Just goes to show that with a bit of ingenuity there really is no "wrong" way to do things......unless of course it doesn't work.
