As of late our picture has been tiling on random channels for no apparent reason. Trouble shot the issue with dish network support and from what they can see remotely everything is checking out. When our service was installed when we moved in the installer ran out of cable, so he pieced together some of the runs out of scraps in his van. Question is what kind of cable must be installed between the dish and the main splitter and then the cable from that to the H3? Currently has solid copper perfect vision quad shield between splitter and dish but has commscope trishield copper clad between the H3 and the splitter, since the dish gets it power from the H3 does a certain cable need to be used for proper power to make it to the dish and what should that power be at the dish? Also is there a distance max the cable should be to the dish?

Clad is OK as long as it's capable of passing a 3Ghz signal.
Maximum distance from the dish to the farthest receiver is 200ft according to Dish but if there are a lot of connections in the line that will be reduced because of added loss of dB's of loss.

Yea shadiest thing i ever saw, he had a dish but not the mounting poles/brackets so he used self tapping screws to mount it to a old pole that was smaller than the new dish network style
That's total BS, I'd have DISH come back and reinstall the Dish and the pieced out wiring.
Oh Man! I'd do like Bobby said and make them come back out and do it right.
