As promised, these are pictures of my latest dish "Farm" taken just a little while ago.

First picture is family Pstar 84e pointed at Hispasat 30W
Second picture is the family 10 foot Winegard Pinnacle.
Third picture is the family 123W and 129W multi-lnb setup.
Fourth picture is the family 10 foot SAMI for their 4DTV.
Fifth picture is our OTA antenna.
Sixth picture is my newly acquired Solid Birdview that I drove to Nashville to get. :)
Seventh picture is my 123W and 129W multi-lnb setup.
Eighth through eleventh is still of the 123/129 setup but just for Anole, shows the naked Bullet LNBF from SatAV mounted with the top half of an ordinary ground clamp from Lowes. I ground off the little hole and set-screw on the very top. See the little notches that hold it in place with the proper skew.
Twelfth picture is my 87W and 97W multi-lnb setup.
Thirteenth picture is my 7.5 foot Perfect 10 for my 4DTV.
Fourteenth picture is my motorized Pstar 84e with 1m in the background.
Fifteenth picture is my 1M Pstar with Universal LNBF mounted and pointed at Hispasat 30W.
Sixteenth picture is my pride and joy, and first Birdview I found on my own, my Perfed Birdview.

It has taken me a little over a year and a half to find, take down, and put up all the dishes you see. Some I paid a token amount for, but most were free. The best dishes were free for working to remove them from people's yards and clean up the pipe in the ground.
Yeah the Birdview is sweet but the Winegard really is a good looking antenna.

Not a farm as such but a few wallflowers. My subscription dish is a SuperDish with a 118 Repoint kit on it. My main FTA rig is the Winegard2076 on SG2100 with the Invacom QPH-031 LNB. Dish #3 is a copilation of parts I put together for something to do and suprizingly it worked good. It's pointed at 91W, 82W, 72.7W, 61.5W. Nothing really to watch on them nowadays and I may abandon this dish soon. The Cband dish in the works is close. The custom mount is tested and ready. I have the Shipping Container for a storage shed in place(6000lbs Non-penatrating ground mount;)) and the mounting pole ready to weld to the top corner of the shed. I have to hire a mobile welder to come in and do the 5min weld job to attach the mount pole. I eventually plan to move all the dishes off the house and onto the shed, a rooftop garden as it were.

very nice carlos
Is that an offset dish and that's why you need to use the conical scaler rings?

Its a 6' Channel Master. I tried using the regular tan conical but the signals were low. Changed to the blue scalar and got like 80-90% of the channels on all 3 sats.

What is the little PVC antenna looking thing on the dish in the background??? It looks like there is a coax going to it too!

It is! That's the only way the mount would allow aiming at a satellite with an elevation of 6.4 degrees. Bottom of dish would hit the pole at elevation around 18 degrees.

Winter pictures like this make having the BUD's and OTA equipment worth all the time that I've invested in them.:)

You're so right. You just taught me something. The key to aesthetic beauty with C-Band is to add more dishes. One BUD is never enough!

What make is your 6 footer?

(You really need a Unimesh 5 footer. One cool looking dish that one.)

As to the make of the 6 footer it only had SRL MESH on the cover and I've got it fixed on W5. Now I've seen another 6 footer that I have to check about and maybe it'll have a different name as it would make another nice dish as it has an actuator.
Bud's are like tree's, if you plant one then the first thing you know you have a whole forest of them. I've got a 7.5 unimesh in the barn for a summer planting and hopefully I'll get one or two Winegard 10 footers if everything goes well.
My biggest problem I didn't plan on this many dishes and will have to pull up all my underground pipe and wiring and rebuild everything with a 4" pipe system and all new coax this next summer.

New projects for the new year

How do I install a 40mm LNBF on a Prodelin 8 foot offset dish?
