Phoenix PBS HD?

Just moved from Bell Express Vu to Dish. We are now up in Page AZ and am surprised that KAET (Phoenix PBS) is apparently not in the HD lineup for Phoenix locals. I did a search and the last time KAET HD was mentioned was a question about it July 2006. Does anyone know if I am missing KAET HD or plans for Dish to add it.

Dish supplied HD locals only include (at this point anyway) are the big four networks. There are some areas which do not even get those. No other plans have been released as to whether Dish will be adding any more local HD channels to the existing packages. You could add an OTA antenna to your receiver and try to receive KAET that way.

As far as I know, neither Dish or DirecTV has any plans to carry local HD PBS channels in the near future. This could change sometime in the future when more bandwidth becomes available. Where I live the local cable system doesn't even carry the PBS channel in HD.

OTA will not work for the OP. Way too far out there to get much of anything.
