Peyton Manning

As stated before...WHOMEVER gets Manning, will get Reggie Wayne...and the like I said, rumor has it will INCLUDE the Manning's center for almost a decade(if not more), Jeff Saturday. The Dolphins brass and fans must be salivating! Multiple TV reports locally have seen Manning all over the city.

Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne could be a package deal

With all the talk this offseason about where Peyton Manning will go, there hasn’t been a lot of room for talk about where Manning’s favorite receiver over the last few years, Reggie Wayne, will end up. But the answer might be where ever Manning goes.

Peter King writes at SI.com today that Manning, Wayne and at least two potential suitor teams would be interested in the possibility of having both players in the same place.

Manning will almost certainly become an unrestricted free agent by March 8, when the Colts will have to cut him or play him a $28 million bonus. And Wayne will almost certainly become an unrestricted free agent on March 13: That’s when his current contract expires, and although he says he’d love to finish his career in Indianapolis, he also says he’s heard nothing from the Colts about a new deal.

Manning is a creature of habit who likes to run an offense his own way, and although he’s going to have a big adjustment to make no matter where he ends up in 2012, having one of his longtime trusted targets in the mix would make him a little more comfortable. Having Manning and Wayne in the same locker room could make a lot of sense for some team.

But don't the Dolphins already have Pouncey as a center?

Converted center...supposedly he is a better RT.

looks like we're already having issues. ross doesn't seem to be on the same page with the head coach who isn't interested in peyton. just let the head coach and the gm make the decision here whether to go for RGIII or peyton. ross doesn't know sh** about football.

Colts lose their plausible deniability because of that video, because of the new CBA they aren't allowed to watch him throw or something until April or something... which means they have to make their $28m decision (which it's been said they made months ago at this point) sight unseen as to his progress healing.

Sure doesn't look like a noodle arm in that video. Colts can't shrug and say 'we can't work him out, we don't know if he's healthy, it's too much money' now.

The week is here. Thursday is the deadline to either cut or pay Manning.

miami needs to either go after this guy or RGIII. at this point i'll take either one. don't wanna know about flynn or pretty much anyone else. most feel that way down here. we're tired of the QB carousel.

You might kiss RG3 goodbye. Rumor has it...that the Dolphins are SOOO pissed off at how Jeff Fisher used the Dolphins to get a better deal out of the Rams that they do not wanna deal with Fisher and the Rams.

Personally, I thinks is this BS... more than likely, they are asking too much. This was reported by a St. Louis reporter and a Browns reporter... heard in 2 local radio stations. I will see if I find a link.

if that's what the dolphin organization thinks then they truly are morons. fisher went to the rams because ross didn't even want to give fisher an ounce of control over personnel.
:facepalm

Yep. Local news confirmed it. 11 o'clock press conference tomorrow. Thank goodness it's over. I've been torn, but time to move on.

A bit sad, to see it end like this. Hopefully when he moves on health is good and he can play

Thanks to the Bounty fiasco,I wouldn't be surprised to see the Saints cleaning house & rebuilding. Also the acrimony between the Saints & Drew Brees will probably see Brees move on(maybe to Miami?) & open the door to Peyton Manning playing out his career with the team his father starred on. I just hope that he won't be "passed his prime(like Kenny Stabler)" playing for the Saints.

Wouldn't be a bad fit in KC... :p

Well at least Kansas City has the cap room to sign him, unlike the other teams the "experts" have been throwing around. The union is not going to let him sign for under 15 million.

I think he ends up in Seattle or San Francisco.
