Pause and switch channel

It there a way to pause a show and change the channel without recording it?
I have HD 700 DVR.

If you pause the channel, you should be able to hit your down arrow twice (first time brings up the Double Play message, second time switches to the other tuner) and tune to any channel you want, and then hit the down arrow again to go back to your original paused channel. When you go back to the paused channel, it will automatically start playing again but it picks up from where it was paused at.
