It has nothing to do about being a "niche" channel.

They're both right. Mike's post about the future of niche channels is spot on, but still out in the future. The specific situation surrounding Pivot is because it didn't have backing of a larger owner, otherwise it might have just been re-branded as H2 was.Read #70. EXACTLY.Of course it does. If your target "Niche" doesn't bite, not matter who owns you or not, you're out of business, or if owned by a larger media concern, "rebranded"...to die another day.
