Paramount and BD

I just watched "Cloverfield" last night. Paramount is using the same time remaining pause bar that they used with HD DVD. I didn't own any of the pre-HD DVD versions they released on BD because of the lack of DD+ or lossless audio, so I don't know if they used it then, also.

I would like to see if Universal uses this, also. I have not seen it from any BD studio. It is my favorite ffeature as I sometimes have to pause. Weird, but I like it. I would like to see all videos use it.

Worst camera work ever. Worst ending ever. Bad story line. Characters with little common sense. No real explainations of anything. Paid to see this at a theater when it came out, wish I hadnt.

You notice I didn't say anything about the movie just how I like the pause feature

I rented the movie. Couldn't watch more than 15minutes of it.

I saw it at the theater, the hand cam doesnt bother me and and I enjoyed the 90 minute run. I bought it on BR because its a movie I can pop in when my dad or the inlaws are in town.

Ive never seen the pause bar your talking about, will check it out if the movie ever arrives (amazon is behind)

I liked it. I watched it on SD DVD upscaled. I watch too much porn for the handheld stuff to bother me. I'll wait a few months for the price to drop before I snag a used Blu-Ray on E-bay. I hear the sound upgrade is amazing.

Im skipping the theaters now, now dropping $25 on a movie that may or may not be good is not a biggie to me. I watcher iron man but skipped narnia and indy, will prob skip the hulk but will go see batman.

I enjoyed it, bout like Eragon. I like a good popcorn movie every now and then. I've watched like 5 dramas in a row from Netflix and its getting old, need to swap them around a bit.

After the first Narnia movie, I can't imagine anyway too psyched about the one in theaters. We have FIVE more of those things to go.

Iron Man was good.

However, they're not doing them in order. Chronicles is the 2nd book and Prince Caspian is the fourth.

Hollywood is good at messing with books.

Well the published order has always been in contention with the fans preferred chronological order. Lewis even was quoted as saying they did not have an intended order when he wrote them. The publishers have changed the book order over the years. I think is more intriguing to read them as they were published and compare with the political and religious climate at that time.

It has its moments. Not the worst movie I've ever seen.
