It seems you cant change channel info in the Pansat Editor (the one downloadable from pansatusa.com). When I try it shoots an error out saying no local channel column or something like that. Its right, there is no local channel column. I need to re-sort my channels. When I re-order channels on the Pansat then recording schedules dont work right. It wont wake up on the correct channel. If I select "wake up on PBS east" it will wake up on the channel that was originally at PBS East prior to sorting/moving channels around =( =(. Anyone have any pointers on this. Anyone have a good version of the channel editor able to edit channels? Otherwise the editor works fine for changing diseq stuff/editing/adding sats. Thanks =) I tried editing channels on a win7 and xp machine. Same error so its either the config thats exported from my box (Im on latest firmware) or the editor.

What channel info are you attempting to change? I haven't used it (my Pansat 9200 and/or editor) in quite a while but don't remember having any problems. Maybe a detailed explanation of what you're trying to do would help. (and allow someone to replicate, step by step, to see where the problem is. BTW,
recording schedules
how did you get the clock to keep time? Mine would regularly set it to who knows what 20 minutes after I set it to the correct time. That being what it was, I didn't even attempt a scheduled recording.

Im trying to change the AID or VID of a channel using the editor. Also there appears to be no way to re-order channels in the editor. If I try to re-order channels on the Pansat they re-order fine and basic receiver functions operate correctly but channel scheduling doesnt work. If you try to schedule a wake-up recording event for a channel thats been moved (or affected by another channel moving) the box will wake up and go to the wrong channel.

To reproduce, scan in some new channels, they will come in at the bottom of your channel list. Using your Pansat, move the channels to a different location. Now try to schedule a recording on the channels you just moved. Instead of recording on the channel you want, it will start recording on the channel at the bottom of the channel list instead, where the old channel used to be. Same thing happens if you move a channel in the middle of your list or anywhere.

Thanks!!!

Oh, also the time sticks in my unit just fine. There is a mode to put it in where it gets the time from the feed but I have it in user mode where you can enter in your own time. Works fine for me?

9200HD_100818_1229_api_pvr.bin firmware? (latest Pansat) This is the first time I've heard of a clock that works in a Pansat 9200. Anyway, My clock NEVER worked, so never did any timed recordings. And now the Panny is sick, so I can't try it. Hopefully, someone with a 9200 with a working clock chimes in.

Well I think I may have found the issue with the Pansat channel editor. In version 1.1.13 I believe they broke channel editing when they removed the local channel number column and replaced it with the encryption column.

Here is a snip of the change log:
Version 1.1.13

Replaced LCN (Local Channel Number) with an Encrypted flag on the Channel Manager and Channel Settings forms.
Editor now remebers the last 5 files opened on the file menu.

My error is in regards to the local channel column being missing. Does anyone have version 1.1.12? I reeeaally need pansat channel editor 1.1.12.

Thanks!!
