So, about the Blind scan, I suppose it works well if you input the TP's manually, per "The List"... in any case, the other day I found out that even units with Blind Scan can miss TP's... my SV4000 missed 11977 H 1562 systematically on SatMex 4 (116.8W), so I couldn't see Televisa Tijuana until I manually input the info...

2025 is the newest factory....it eliminates the 31 sat max limit

the CLean file is if you want to go backwards on software. It cleans out the software in it and allows you to load older firmware (if it has hackware in it now) into it

BTW, how do I scan the HD channels? I seem to be getting the same stuff with the CS8000 HD I did before with the SV4000...

HD channels will scan in on either box. The issue is the 8000 will play them and show the picture...the 4000 wont

There are 4 If I remember right

2 on 12140 V 30000
PBS HD East
PBS HD West

12180 V 30000 the 1st channel is a HD feed...usually color bars

last one is usually color bars
12150 H 14028
