He was talking about 8psk Trellis that requires large reflector to get lock.
I have not seen any of the consumer receivers support 8psk Trellis and I doubt there will be one.
What you see 8psk listed on the specs of some new comming HDTV receiver is either 8psk Turbo or 8psk DVB-s2.
It will be interesting if manufacture supports 8psk turbo because Dish Network is the only player in N.America who uses this. Consider as an extra thing for hacker-wanna-be. 8psk turbo is not used for DSNG, transmiting content from point A to point B in N.America.

Why would you need a 14' dish for G3, G4 or AMC1?

Bad news

Hello

4:2:2 has been deleted from the specs...

I read they have problem with that and it shouldn't be there

Labgate

multi satellite scan isnt blind scan. Just allows you to scan multiple satellites in a row.
the other options are standard on Pansat's

What must the user provide for a "multiscan"?
Is it necessary to input the frequency of each transponder?
Is it necessary to also input the symbol rate of each transponder?

What exactly is the difference between blind and multi?

Thanks.
