Pansat 3500 and 5000

Pansat 5000HC

Does anyone have experience with unit?
I have 1 and have it set up ...would like to tweak, almost have arc adjusted correctly.

Are the setups similar.. I have a 5000 understand 3500 is a great unit also. just want to compare notes.

3500 has only one input and 5000 has 2
5000 has PVR and 3500 doesn't

Would love a 5000

3500 also has component out, but doesn't do HD.

I appreciate feedback.
Since there are similarities, does this mean files or updates to channel lists. etc. would be the same or very similar.
I have been reading up on these things, but when in doubt, ask about.

files are different due to the software in the units

channel list editing software works the same

I have read up some and downloded pertinent files from satcodx then integrated then to 1 file.
Do I load this up thru gtools or the Pansat 5000 loader that uses USB cable.
Or is there a better program.

gTools to load up the Sat and TP lists.

The Pansat loader is only for uploading firmware.
