pansat 2700a

I saw the specs on pansatusa site,
it does not seem that much different from my 2500a
except for the universal remote and
" Capable of Setting the Frequency for SMATV System"
which i assume is a built in a/v modulator?
any opinions pr reviews on this box?

2700a difference than 2500a?

I too am wondering what the benefits are if any with this new model besides smatv. Is it faster as far as channel searches or anything like that?

Well I have one of each and the 2700 comes with a universal remote and a bit more memory. It scans faster and changes channels quicker, otherwise there are little difference to me. The 2700 also comes with gTools to edit your channel list with, but you can get that free anyway for the 2500.
