Hi guys!
I just bought a Pansat 2700A receiver from one of my friends.
I have installed it using a moteck Sg2100 HH drive. At first everything went fine when I programmed some satellites and using the "Smart Search" to find the TPs and channels. I fell in love with this receiver!
Then, later on I went to program more satellites. In the process, while using the USUAL feature, I accidently clicked on the "Reference Position" and ever since then all the satellites I programmed would be off like a coupla degrees!
When I smart search scan a satellite, I would end up getting the TPs and channels from the NEXT satellite! Like, I program AMC 4 into my system and do the smart search, I would end up getting the TPs and its channels from the AMC 1 satellite.
I factory resetted the receiver and tried again. Still the same bull.
I went on Pansatusa.com website and downloaded the latest software for this receiver. Still, the problem exist.
Should I reset the SG2100 again?
How can I correct this? Right now, I am doing the DiSEQc 1.2 to program the satellites. I rather use the USUAL.
Also if I use the USUAL but use the 1.2 to find tune, do I "OK" it to memory in the "1.2", or in the "USUAL" mode?
Please help!!!

In "1.2" mode positions are stored in motor's memory.
In USALS mode, they stored in receiver's memory.
Maybe, your dish is out of alignment for 2 degrees?
Move it to your "true south" satellite, and "nudge" the motor with "1.2" feature east and west. If signal improves, then probably it makes sense to re-align the dish:D
