Ok. Getting ready to do my first motorized dish this weekend.
Equipment:
Pansat 2700A
GeosatPro 90cm Dish
GeosatPro GS120 motor (basically SG2100)(Diseqc 1.2 & USALS)(140degree limit)
Invacom QPH-031 LNB
DiseqC 4x1 switch if need be

Satellite range available for my location (according to SatAntAlign 2.36.5):
18.0W Elev. 1.040degrees to 148.0W Elev. 21.633degrees
Location: Tulsa, OK

From what I remember from the forums, QPH-031 is a Standard LNB.

I guess the 2700 does not have the "Goto X" function. So, should I use the USALS with this equipment?

What other things should I know about before I do this install? This is my first time to do an FTA dish, especially a motorized. Any tips would be helpful.

Thanks....

Leave the switch out when setting up, once you are all lined up you can add that!

Use only one Liner output from the QPH-031 to start with (L.O. 10750).

Have fun!

Ok. Thanks! Once I get this up and running, and then get the 10ft C-band up and running, I am going to have to throw a party, and show my friends how much fun FTA can really be.

I guess the best way would be to pick a day that a game is going to be on a feed! :D
