Just got my iPhone a few days ago and LUV it!!!!!. Downloaded the pandora app and really like it. I don't get the option of thumbs up or thumbs down buttons. They are there, but subdued and not selectable. Any ideas?

I have Slacker as well. It's a good one too.
I would probably try a re-download of the Pandora app and see if it's just a bad download or something. Barring that you could report it to their support team (I believe they are on twitter, but couldn't tell you their screen name) and they could try to come out with a new version that fixes that problem. Slacker did that for me (well, I don't know if it was FOR me) when I had custom station issues, which are now fixed with the new version.
Not sure if this is what fixed it, but after I visit each channel online, I get the other icons on my iPhone.
