Can I use a PAL PS3 in Canada to play Blu Ray DVDs in my 720p projector?
The DVDs will surely be NTSC, but my projector can handle both PAL and NTSC signals.
So the problem is not the display, but will the player accept the North American DVDs

Thanks,:)

There's no more PAL / NTSC encoding on either Blu-ray or HD DVD - all high def movies are encoded at 1080p 24 fps (frames per second). It's up to the player / PS3 to output in PAL or NTSC format. But, you might run into problems with the region coding on some blu-ray disks. Some BD's (mostly Fox) released in North America are region coded for Region A, while one released in Europe are region coded for Region B.
