Painting a Primestar Dish

Sort of off subject but I have a white dish. I was trying to adjust it at night when I had it mounted on the roof. I was using my brother's LED penlight with a blue LED in it and he said the dish looked really cool with the blue light shining on it. Someday I'm planning to make a sound activated LED light that will come on when the dish is moving, activated by the sound of the motor.

That would be very cool!

I'd paint it bright yellow with a giant green 'G' in the middle

That would look awesome as but it would make your property values go up 100% as well.

I've been painting mine ACE Hardware Primer Gray. John Madden would be so proud.

Sounds like a great idea illuminating the dish. Would love to do this to my 10 footer, but the actuator on that is almost silent. Way more quiet than the STAB on the Primestar.

just out of curiosity, what colo(u)rs do birds less like crapping on? I've had horrible luck with the default grey.
