Outdoor multiswitch

Must a multiswitch be indoors or can it be outdoors? I've got mine outdoors in a weatherproof box. But I've noticed that on cooler days it I sometimes have to change channels a few times to get the switch to switch LNBs. It might just be a coincidence. Though, it certainly wouldn't be convenient to move the switch indoors due to the amount of cable I'd have to restring.

I have all my multiswitches/switches outside. The 22k switch that controls the KU & DBS LNB on my motorized has been up there for 2 years now....And in Minnesota it can get COLD and snowy

Most of my switches are mounted under the table where my T90 sits but they are still out in the cold
