Outdoor Channel Moving?

I see that effective 6/23, The Outdoor Channel SD channel 153 is moving to channel 396. What does this mean?

Is it moving from it's AT package and will only be available in HD for Platnum subscribers when this happens?

Is this the beginning of the end of standard definition? If so, it's about time.

In SD or HD? It doesn't make sense they would throw a SD channel up in this channel range.

OK so for the first time in a long time I went to the "All Channels" guide and I see SMC is there in SD & HD so who knows?

I think it is also clever channel placement to bring people down to the HD Platinum channels to see the "great" channels in red they are missing, IMHO. Kind of like why Travel Channel is buried next to the Paid Programming channels. Although, the move also opens up the old channels for new services to come that are better placed in the 100's and 200's.

I wondered the same thing when I saw the outdoor channel moving... that maybe they're getting ready to add the HD feed.
