I had been having a problem with some channels (notably The Tube and The Pentagon Channel on G10R) not having the audio in sync. Well today i found the fix to the problem.
There is a setting under "edit channel" in the satworks 3618 that is called PCR ID. PCR stands for Program Clock Rate. Apparently when some channels are "blind scanned" the PCR ID is not scanned correctly.
What I have done is changed the default PCR ID on the offending channels from 8191 to the same value as the VID (Video ID), and VOILA, now both The Tube and The Pentagon Channel have audio in sync with the video : )
Now if only i could get the signal quality a little higher on the weak transponders on g10 I would be all set. I have tried peaking my dish, playing with scew and freq. settings on my reciever and still get no higher than 39% SQ on The Tube, while other transponders on that sat i can get up to 65% SQ. Shoulda bought the 1 meter dish instead of the 76cm :-(
Anyways, hope this helps someone else out : )
