Our Contract end again

was able to get a $40 credit, and Existing Customer Premier Savings Offer for 24 months by calling yesterday... super easy, quick, and painless effort, with the 1st person on the phone.. calling direct
my bill for 250 with locals, h3, and 3 joey was mid 140s then 150s, then my last bill was like $220, new amount was going to be 180s...
after the call, its 130s + tax and stuff... so back to reasonable again..
been with them like 18 years at this house, and longer with the old house..

(not sure we need 2 of the joeys, and we do have an antenna with h3 adapter, for backup... so locals, and not sure we often watch 250 stuff vs 200.... so definitely could have trimmed our bill quite a bit.. but it was nice not being told to cut programming or equipment if i wanted a lower bill...)

I called in to ask about any deals for current customers. I have been with them for over 24 years. The lady was very nice and very hard to understand. She said no discounts for me just lots of free premium channels she could give me. I explained I don’t want premium channels she said oh let me look and then said lots of premium channels available. It was definitely a foreign call center very loud . I didn’t realize that there was an auto pay discount. Until reading it here.They owe me 24 years of back pay. I ended up putting it on pause for 3 months and have Hulu . I am getting use to it but I do miss the convenience of just turning on the tv and looking at the guide. Not crazy about the Hulu live guide. It seems very generic.

Not getting someone that can barely speak English is my reason for hating to call Dish. I am hearing impaired which makes understanding them even harder. How would someone get connected to someone that speaks English?

I called in October and couldn't understand the agent. I just hung up and called back in about an hour. I could understand him perfectly.
