OTA upgrade: Winegard HD7210P Ghost Killer

I'm scheduled for an ota upgrade and wanted to know if anyone has had any positive or negative experiences with the winegard hd7210p "ghost killer". I currently have the winegard sensor II which has done a decent job. I'm able to pickup nbc, abc and wb but flaky reception on cbs and pbs. I can adjust the antenna and pickup cbs and pbs but lose the nbc signal and abc becomes erratic. The 1st major difference between the sensor and the ghost killer is that the sensor is amplified but the ghost killer is not. Will this matter much?
