OTA Recording on a 501

I have a 501 and subscribe to the local channels here in Phonex. Once Dish comes out with their 811, I plan on dropping the locals from my plan because most of the locals are broadcasting in HD.

My question is this, I can attach the OTA antenna to the 501, but can I record a show on the 501 if it is coming in OTA?

No - unfortunately the 501 does not have a tuner capable of receiving the OTA signals.
