I have a few questions about "Over The Air" broadcasts and dish receivers.

A 622 receiver will record OTA broadcasts. Will a 625?

Can you record from cable TV instead of using an antenna?

You cannot record OTA with a 625 receiver, and no its not possible to record cable TV with a 622 ether.

The 625 will also allow ota and cable signals to pass through to the tv tuner, the 622 does not.

To further elaborate, the 622 OTA can show up on the program guide, the 625 will not.

On the 625, using coax, I believe it should pass through to both sets (but am not 100% sure on this). If you use composites or s-video, it will not pass through to either tv1 or tv2.
