OTA Possible with this building?

Need some help. Take a look at my house.

Yes, I live in a Barn..I was wondering if its even possible to install an outdoor antenna to this building or would I just be waisting my time. The channels I want are all within a few degrees of each other.

Everything I've read says not to attach an antenna to a metal building. Whats my other option? Large pole away from the building?

There is no problem with attaching an antenna to a metal building, as long as you raise the antenna 10 ft or so to get it away from the building. The metal building may cause some reflections and reception problems, but until you try it you will never know.

Mount your ota antenna with a vent pipe mount to one of those fence posts using heavy gauge water pipe.
